What an amazing find of beautiful top quality chevron amethyst crystals from Zambia. This variety of tumbled stones does not often get produced as priority on the high grade material usually goes into polished item production such as points, spheres, or jewelry items. Yet fortunately the material has been becoming more abundant and higher in quality. This amethyst is graded AA based on the medium to dark purple coloration with white quartz banding and containing little to no surface deposits on the crystals. The translucency can be variable in these crystals. Some pieces may be very gemmy while others are more clouded. A few pieces may be included with smoky or morion quartz.
