This variety of black tourmaline schorl is graded AA for containing a good jet black color with desirable mineral inclusions. This is extremely rare material coming out of Namibia that is only produced in limited quantities. Some of the most sought after tourmaline crystals in the world comes from this region and is prized by collectors and crystal enthusiasts alike. With the exception of a few small surface deposits, this crystal specimen borders on AAA grade featuring a highly intact crystal structure comprised of a variety of both large and small crystal clusters, many of which are double terminated. This is an exceptionally amazing piece with a unique crystal formation that doesn't appear too often. Large raw black tourmaline specimens are ideal for natural home & garden decor and metaphysical use. This natural rough stone would also make for a thoughtful gift to anybody who admires what nature can produce.

Note: Black tourmaline clusters in their raw state can be somewhat unstable as the hardness across the stone varies. However this variety from Namibia features a highly intact and stable crystal structure. Yet it is always a best practice to be very gentle holding and moving tourmaline specimens to protect the delicate crystals.
