Crystal Use in Regenerative Agroforestry Farming: A Guide to Sustainable Fertilization

After all, most commercial fertilizers tend to be largely made up of crushed up minerals and rock dust, but yet the mining for these materials is often very environmentally destructive. When placed in proximity to the plants, mixed in water for foliar feeding, or incorporated directly into the soil, these crystals release beneficial minerals that support the growth and vitality of the crop. We use larger stones to weigh down fruit tree branches to train them into desired shapes and angles, promoting optimal sun exposure and air circulation for improved fruit production. Additionally, the pressure and energy from the stones can stimulate the production of growth hormones in the tree, encouraging stronger branch development and a more robust overall growth. The application of crystals is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Understanding the unique needs of each plant species and their corresponding mineral requirements is vital.
