After years of research and experimentation we have developed our own innovative and proprietary method of cleaning and polishing with eco-friendly products that helps to naturally bring out more clarity and color and keep your crystals looking vibrant for years to come. While polishing raw stones and crystals with oil is already somewhat common, unfortunately nearly everyone uses toxic petroleum based oils (mineral oil). For items that are often handled or used in intimate and spiritual ways we wanted to find the right formulas and techniques to ensure the materials we use have beneficial properties, not harmful effects.

Using some basic knowledge of chemistry and what is most commonly used for cleaning stones (muriatic acid/hydrochloric acid) we created a vinegar solution works equally as well if you practice some patience and don’t mind doing some occasional scrubbing. We work with grapeseed oil for polishing which is a byproduct of the wine industry that would otherwise go unused. It is a great option for polishing all types of stones and crystals as it is odorless, semi-clear, and spreads very well. However it takes finding the correct ratio of water to oil to be effective and frequent mixing in a sprayer. Yet this laborious and attentive process is well worth it to yield beautifully cleaned and polished stones and crystals without any harmful chemicals involved.

Another key advantage of cleaning and polishing most of our raw stones and crystals in house is that it also allows us to offer the highest quality material possible. Every piece is personally touched and inspected as part of our quality control methodology. When cleaning and polishing our raw stones and crystals they can lose up to 10% of their original weight from scrubbing off dirt, debris, and loose chips. Not only is the material cleaner and more energetic, this process can help us detect and remove any pieces that may show signs of damage or instability.

While polishing can hold different meanings, our unique process is completely different than creating something like tumbled stones which can sometimes lose over 50% of their weight and original shape after being tumbled. The finished results of our methods leaves all of the raw features intact and brings out the true potential in each piece. We are dedicated to producing vibrant stones and crystals that you will love and enjoy without any chemical processes involved. Occasionally you may notice some light residue left on our products. It is completely harmless and can be easily removed with a cloth if desired.
