This is the absolute finest tumbled amethyst that we source. It has a deep purple color with excellent translucency within each stone and minimal surface blemishes including fracture lines present. These amethyst stones were originally tumbled from crystal points that have fallen off of high grade geodes. This grade of amethyst is very limited in tumbled stone production, as most high quality points will stay in their raw form for sale as jewelry points. In some pieces you can still see some of the resemblance to the point it was tumbled from. This variety in particular has an abundance of rainbow flashes found in the form of mineral deposits or trapped water molecules within many crystals. These tumbled amethyst stones are 100% natural and have never been artificially heated, irradiated, dyed or color enhanced.
