This ametrine is graded "AA" for having superb color with excellent translucency and minimal surface blemishes including fracture lines present. This grade of ametrine is very limited in tumbled stone production, as most high quality crystals will stay in their natural raw form for sale as cut gemstones in jewelry. In most cases AA grade ametrine is the best grade available in tumbled stones. The distribution of amethyst to citrine can sometimes be uneven based on the imperfect nature of the tumbling process. However these stones certainly have a very intense coloration and are some of the most vibrant crystals we carry.
