What an amazing find of beautiful top quality chevron amethyst crystals from Zambia. Raw material is particularly challenging to get on a reliable basis as most of the highest grade chevron amethyst goes into polished item production such as points, spheres, or jewelry items. This amethyst is graded AA based on the medium to dark purple coloration with white quartz banding and containing little to no surface deposits on the crystals. The translucency can be variable in these crystals. Some pieces may be very gemmy while others are more clouded. A few pieces may be included with smoky or morion quartz.
