Flower Agate Tumbled Stones (0.75-1.50 Inch - A Grade - 32-48 Pieces Per Pound) Ethically Sourced from Madagascar

Flower agate is rarely tumbled as it often loses its prototypical “flower” characteristics. This is true for most uniquely patterned agates and stones as the tumbling process will yield highly inconsistent results. However the lapidary in Madagascar will tumble material in small batches that is not suitable for polishing. While these stones are a more basic A grade with lots of variation, it is unlikely to encounter higher quality tumbled flower agate considering how ineffective tumbling is and also the fact that most lapidaries would probably treat this material as waste rock. Some pieces are more of a plain translucent agate while others are filled with lots of flower patterns. Yet we still think these stones are exceptionally beautiful and have lots of character in each piece.
