Chrysocolla Raw Stone Specimen Ethically Sourced from Democratic Republic of the Congo

Always a beautiful mineral, malachite and chrysocolla has such a vibrant color that you don’t find in nature too often. It is best to be very gentle when handling specimens like these. In the raw form, specimens can be somewhat soft and shed small amounts despite our best efforts at cleaning, yet it is to be somewhat expected in this type of delicate material. The structure and density can often vary considerably. It is most commonly found in botryoidal and fibrous silky formations, although stalactites do occur somewhat regularly.
