This variety of raw aquamarine comes from fractured pieces off of larger crystals which are exceptionally rare to find fully intact. Aquamarine is sometimes heat treated or dyed to make the stones a deep and consistent blue by removing the green coloration. Real aquamarine is often a greenish-blue color and is rarely found as a deep blue in nature. This raw aquamarine is 100% natural and has never been heat-enhanced, dyed, or irradiated.
