A beautiful mixture of colorful carnelian nodules from Malawi. Carnelian is always a consistently popular stone because of the intense orange and red colors. When held up to the light, they appear like little fireballs. This is our first time carrying these stones and they have been really fascinating to work with compared to the other varieties of carnelian we have. Most pieces show a high level of translucency, and some stones may even qualify as gem grade material when cut and polished.
