These rhodonite stones are graded "AA" for having great color and minimal surface deposits. Most stones are predominantly black with pink spotting, although a few pieces may feature a high level of included quartz. This grade in raw form is relatively hard to get on a consistent basis as the higher grades tend to go into production for polished items and tumbled stones.
