Selenite is chalky white, translucent, and so soft you can scratch it with a fingernail. A good piece has a silky fiber running through it that catches the light like moonlight on water. Keep it dry and it'll last.

Our polished crystals & decor are sourced from New Mexico, USA. At 2 on the Mohs scale, it's on the softer end. Keep it away from water and store it separately from harder pieces.
