Wholesale Guidelines for Ethical Crystal Retailers

If you're weighing whether to apply, you probably want the terms before the pitch. Here they are, on one page, current as of September 2026. The fuller case for the program lives on the wholesale application page.

The program at a glance

• Pricing: 30% off from $150, 40% off from $300, 50% off from $1,000.
• Order minimum: $150.
• Shipping: free on every U.S. order, with no threshold to clear.
• Membership: a one-time $99 fee. Not a deposit, and not credited to your order.
• Catalog: nearly all of it. Three exceptions, listed below.
• Approval: apply, pay the membership, start ordering.

How your rate is set

Your tier is set by the retail value of your bag before the discount, not after. A bag holding $320 of stones at retail sits on the 40% rung, and you pay $192. The rate applies to the whole bag, it updates as the bag grows, and it shows automatically once you're signed in to the account you registered with. Signed out, you're looking at retail.

There's no separate price list to request and no rep to email for a quote. If the number on the page isn't your number, you're not signed in.

The $99

A one-time membership fee. It isn't a deposit, it isn't credited to your first order, and it isn't refundable once your account is active.

Wholesale at this level doesn't pay for itself the way people assume. Deep discounts, free shipping on every order, and hand-checking each one cost real time and money. The membership covers part of that, and it means we put our energy into shops that are serious about growing the right way.

Shipping

U.S. orders ship free, every time, with no minimum to reach and no handling, packaging, or fuel charges added at checkout. That's deliberate. Freight and handling are what quietly turn a workable wholesale price into an unworkable one, and you usually don't find out until the invoice lands.

International orders ship DHL Express, Delivered Duty Paid. Duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, so nothing is owed when the box arrives. Rates are live by destination and weight, with no markup from us.

What's excluded

Wholesale pricing covers regularly priced inventory. Three things sit outside it:

• Perfectly Imperfect pieces, which are already discounted for their flaws.
• Bundles and sets, which are built and priced as retail products.
• Gift cards.

Samples and small quantities are fine, and we'd rather you tested a stone before committing a shelf to it. The one place we draw a line is an order built almost entirely from small increments of our bulk categories.

Sales tax

You don't need a sales tax license to buy wholesale from us. The one place it matters is Maryland: if you operate there and give us your Maryland sales tax license number, we exempt your orders from sales tax. Without it you can still buy at wholesale rates, and Maryland sales tax is added at checkout. Everywhere else, in the U.S. and abroad, there's nothing to provide.

Applying

Two steps. Fill in the short application, which mostly asks what kind of shop you run and where, then pay the $99 membership. The membership is what switches your account on. If anything looks off after you've done both, email info@beyondbohemian.com and you'll get a person, not a queue.

What we ask of you

One thing, and it's the reason the program exists. When a customer picks up a piece in your shop and asks where it came from, tell them. We send origin and sourcing detail with every order so you have something true to say. Every stone we sell came through one of five sourcing paths, and we'll tell you which one. Pass that forward.
