What is amethyst good for?

Where does your amethyst come from?

The amethyst we carry is sourced from primarily Uruguay, with additional pieces from Brazil, Madagascar, and Zambia. Every product page names the specific country of origin. If we can name the region or the mine, we do. If we can't verify it, we say so rather than guess.

How do I know your amethyst is real and not dyed?

Every piece of amethyst we sell is hand-graded and checked against known treatment patterns before it's listed. If a stone has been dyed, heated, irradiated, or coated in any way, we disclose it on the product page. How do I cleanse and care for amethyst?

Most people cleanse amethyst with sound (a bell or a singing bowl), smoke (sage, palo santo, cedar), moonlight overnight, or by placing it on a piece of selenite. Amethyst is hard enough at 7 on the Mohs scale to handle most cleansing methods. How often is up to you. A weekly reset is a common rhythm, but there's no rule. The practice matters more than the schedule.

Cactus Spirit Quartz is a rare form of quartz where a primary crystal is fully coated in tiny secondary terminations, creating a distinctive spiky or prickly surface. The formation happens over time when a second generation of quartz crystals grows on an already-formed primary point. Found almost exclusively in South Africa's Magaliesberg region, it is natural and never treated.
