How do I cleanse and care for serpentine?

Most people cleanse serpentine with sound (a bell or a singing bowl), smoke (sage, palo santo, cedar), moonlight overnight, or by placing it on a piece of selenite. Serpentine is soft at 4 on the Mohs scale, so skip water and salt cleansing. How often is up to you. A weekly reset is a common rhythm, but there's no rule.
