What is unakite good for?

In traditional crystal practice, unakite is most commonly worked with for heart root balance, pregnancy, and past lives. It's not medicine, and no stone will fix anything on its own. Think of it as a physical cue for a practice you're already building. The stone holds the attention, the practice does the work.

Where does your unakite come from?

The unakite we carry is sourced from South Africa. Every product page names the specific country of origin. If we can name the region or the mine, we do. If we can't verify it, we say so rather than guess.

How do I know your unakite is real and not dyed?

Every piece of unakite we sell is hand-graded and checked against known treatment patterns before it's listed. If a stone has been dyed, heated, irradiated, or coated in any way, we disclose it on the product page. Our sourcing goes through the Beyond Ethical supply network, which means we know who handled the rough before us. No mystery lots, no filler, no dyed stones passed off as natural.

How do I cleanse and care for unakite?

Most people cleanse unakite with sound (a bell or a singing bowl), smoke (sage, palo santo, cedar), moonlight overnight, or by placing it on a piece of selenite. Unakite is moderately soft at 6.5 on the Mohs scale, so short water rinses are fine but avoid long soaks. How often is up to you. A weekly reset is a common rhythm, but there's no rule. The practice matters more than the schedule.

Unakite

For the heart that's been doing the work alone for a while.

Altered GraniteSouth Africa, Zimbabwe, United StatesTreatment: Low risk

Unakite is a pink-and-green altered granite, a rock rather than a single mineral, made of pink orthoclase feldspar, green epidote, and clear quartz grown together. Traditionally associated with emotional healing and the slow work of returning to yourself, it's one of the honest, practical stones in the collection.
