How do I know your pyrite is real and not dyed?

Every piece of pyrite we sell is hand-graded and checked against known treatment patterns before it's listed. If a stone has been dyed, heated, irradiated, or coated in any way, we disclose it on the product page. Our sourcing goes through the Beyond Ethical supply network, which means we know who handled the rough before us. No mystery lots, no filler, no dyed stones passed off as natural.

How do I cleanse and care for pyrite?

Most people cleanse pyrite with sound (a bell or a singing bowl), smoke (sage, palo santo, cedar), moonlight overnight, or by placing it on a piece of selenite. Pyrite is moderately soft at 6.5 on the Mohs scale, so short water rinses are fine but avoid long soaks. How often is up to you. A weekly reset is a common rhythm, but there's no rule. The practice matters more than the schedule.
