Pyrite Crystals & Stones
Pyrite
Brass-yellow geometry, cubic and surprisingly heavy in the hand.
Pyrite is iron disulfide (FeS₂), the brass-yellow sulfide that crystallizes into near-perfect cubes and pyritohedrons. Hardness sits at 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale, with a specific gravity of 5.01 to 5.10, notably heavier than quartz of the same size. Our current stock is sourced from Peru's Ancash region through a long-running supplier relationship. Traditionally associated with abundance, confidence, and protection, and most often used in workspace display, abundance altar work, or as a meditation anchor for manifestation practice.
