How do I cleanse and care for aventurine?

Most people cleanse aventurine with sound (a bell or a singing bowl), smoke (sage, palo santo, cedar), moonlight overnight, or by placing it on a piece of selenite. Aventurine is moderately soft at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, so short water rinses are fine but avoid long soaks. How often is up to you. A weekly reset is a common rhythm, but there's no rule. The practice matters more than the schedule.
