Is the green natural or dyed?

Natural. Aventurine gets its green from fuchsite mica inside the quartz, not from dye. The stone is untreated apart from a light jojoba oil finish, which we disclose openly.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

No. Each is cut from its own block with the natural rough exterior left intact, so the depth of green and the amount of shimmer vary. Yours will be a similar piece from the same lot.

How do I care for it?

Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from harsh chemical cleaners.

What does a crystal grade (A, AA, or AAA) actually mean?

Crystal grades reflect visual quality within a single batch. Grade A is standard quality with typical inclusions. Grade AA shows stronger color saturation, cleaner surface, and tighter sizing. Aventurine is quartz with fuchsite in it, a chromium-rich mica that sits in tiny platelets through the stone and gives it both the green and the shimmer.

That shimmer has a name: aventurescence. It is the quickest way to tell aventurine from ordinary green quartz.

These diffusers are cut and hollowed from solid blocks sourced in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The outside is left rough and finished with a light coat of natural jojoba oil, which deepens the green without adding gloss.
