This is a natural green aventurine reed oil diffuser from Minas Gerais, Brazil, cut from a solid block and hollowed for a removable oil tube. It stands 4 to 5 inches tall, 2.5 to 3.5 inches across, weighs 2 to 3 pounds, Mohs 6.5 to 7. The rough exterior is jojoba-finished, with a chrome collar seated into the top. Reeds are not included.
Aventurine is quartz with fuchsite in it, a chromium-rich mica that sits in tiny platelets through the stone and gives it both the green and the shimmer.
That shimmer has a name: aventurescence. It is the quickest way to tell aventurine from ordinary green quartz.
These diffusers are cut and hollowed from solid blocks sourced in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The outside is left rough and finished with a light coat of natural jojoba oil, which deepens the green without adding gloss.
Aventurine is traditionally the luck stone, and the association runs toward opportunity and the nerve to take it rather than luck in the lottery sense. It is linked to the heart chakra and often given at the start of something.

Green Aventurine sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
