Where does your agate come from?

The agate we carry is sourced from Madagascar and Brazil. Every product page names the specific country of origin. If we can name the region or the mine, we do. If we can't verify it, we say so rather than guess.

How do I know your agate is real and not dyed?

Every piece of agate we sell is hand-graded and checked against known treatment patterns before it's listed. If a stone has been dyed, heated, irradiated, or coated in any way, we disclose it on the product page. How do I cleanse and care for agate?

Most people cleanse agate with sound (a bell or a singing bowl), smoke (sage, palo santo, cedar), moonlight overnight, or by placing it on a piece of selenite. Agate is moderately soft at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, so short water rinses are fine but avoid long soaks. How often is up to you. A weekly reset is a common rhythm, but there's no rule. The practice matters more than the schedule.
