Seven Chakra Crystal Kit, a new arrival at Beyond Bohemian

New Crystal Arrivals

Newest first, and the one-of-a-kind pieces rarely stay long.

Sorted by the day each piece reached the shop, so the top row is always the latest. Lately that's our intention, chakra and zodiac kits, each built from stones we already sell on their own, and standing selenite slabs from New Mexico.

What lands here

Everything new passes through this page first, whichever corner of the catalog it belongs to. In a typical stretch that means a mix of three things: restocks of the staple tumbled stones, small runs of polished pieces, and specimens that exist as exactly one stone. Nothing here is filtered by type or price, only by when it came out of the shipping crate, so browsing it feels closer to unpacking with us than to shopping a category. A small tumbled stone can sit beside a shelf-anchoring specimen, and that mix is most of the page's charm.

This month's kind of finds

The exact pieces turn over too fast to promise, so think in categories instead. Raw specimens have been the recent strength, with dioptase from the Republic of the Congo the standout, a copper mineral that grows in small, glassy, deep green crystals. Alongside those come the reliable tumbled restocks, rose quartz and amethyst most often, plus polished work like rhodonite freeforms from Zimbabwe and lepidolite from Brazil with its gray lilac shimmer of mica. Carvings and cut forms round out most shipments, hearts and freeforms more often than anything elaborate. If a category interests you more than a specific stone, that's the useful way to read this page.

Why the rarer material moves fast

Staples we can reorder. A specimen is different. A lemurian quartz point from Brazil or a piece of Madagascan petrified wood is listed as a single numbered stone, photographed on its own, and once it sells there's no second copy waiting behind it. That's why regulars look at this page before any other. The unusual material is often gone before it would ever have climbed a category page. Amethyst geodes from Uruguay behave the same way. The material itself is steady, but a particular geode with particularly deep color tends to find its person within days of going up.

How to catch new stones first

Two habits cover it. The first is bookmarking this page and glancing in when you think of it, since additions land most weeks. The second is our email letter, The Slow Note, where new material gets a mention whenever a shipment is worth writing home about. Neither reserves a specific piece for you, but between the two you'll rarely miss a shipment altogether.

From new arrival to classic

Every staple in the shop started life on this page. When a new stone keeps selling through its first few restocks, it earns a permanent home in its own collection, which is how the best sellers list slowly changes underneath everyone. If you'd rather browse a short, edited selection than the full stream, our picks is the hand-chosen version of the same instinct. And if a stone here is new to you, a few minutes with something like our amethyst guide is time well spent before you buy.

Common questions

How often do you add new crystals?
Most weeks. Sometimes a single piece goes up, sometimes an entire shipment lands at once, so the page can jump from quiet to crowded overnight. The newest material sits at the top.
Are new arrivals one of a kind?
Many are. Larger specimens are listed as individual numbered pieces, so the photo shows the exact stone you'd receive, and when it sells there isn't another. Staple tumbled stones are the exception, since those are ongoing lines we restock.
Do sold out pieces come back?
Individual pieces don't, because each was a single stone. What does come back is the material itself. Later shipments often carry close relatives of a sold piece, and staple lines like tumbled rose quartz restock on a rolling basis, so the stone's own collection page is worth watching.
How do I find out about new crystals first?
Our email letter mentions notable new material when a shipment deserves it, and this page always shows the latest additions first. Checking back regularly beats any other method, since the rarer pieces tend to sell between letters.
Is dioptase fragile?
Yes, treat it as a display piece. Dioptase is noticeably softer than quartz and the crystals are brittle, so it shouldn't travel in a pocket or knock around a shelf with harder stones. Kept still on a stand or in a cabinet, it's no trouble at all.
How can you tell real amethyst?
Look for uneven color. Natural amethyst almost always shows zoning, with the purple deepest at the crystal tips and paler toward the base, and clusters sit on a rock matrix rather than a suspiciously clean bottom. Uniform, saturated purple throughout is the warning sign. Ours comes from Uruguay and Brazil and shows its zoning plainly.
