These are A-grade Green Aventurine crystal chips from Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe, sold by the piece or by the pound. Tiny fuchsite mica platelets inside this quartz catch the light, the sparkle that defines aventurine. Each chip runs 0.25-0.50 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite abundance stone for crystal grids.

Green Aventurine sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
