These are A-grade Serpentine raw stones from Junín, Peru, sold by the piece or by the pound. Serpentine's waxy olive-green comes from magnesium silicates formed as ancient seafloor rock altered under heat and water. Each piece runs 1-2 inches at Mohs 4, fully natural and untreated. A favorite cleansing stone for meditation spaces.

Serpentine sits at 4 on the Mohs scale, soft enough to scratch with a knife, so keep it dry and store it on its own. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
