Tiger eye is gold and brown quartz with a silky shimmer called chatoyancy, caused by parallel fibers that catch light and seem to move as you tilt the stone. It's the closest thing to optical magic in the stone world. Roman soldiers carried tiger eye for bravery in battle.

These tumbled stones come from Northern Cape, South Africa. Worth knowing: a lot of the tiger eye on the market is heat-treated. What we carry is natural and untreated.

Tiger eye has long been used in practices around settling into who you already are, career, and coming back to the task in front of you. It's traditionally linked to the solar plexus and root chakras. If that resonates, carry it when you need to settle into your own confidence. There's no single right way to carry it.

These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
