Black moonstone is a dark variety of moonstone, grey-to-black with the same internal flash (called adularescence) that makes regular moonstone glow from within. The darker base color makes the flash more dramatic.

Black moonstone has long been used in practices around staying connected to your body and the moment, a sense of groundedness when things feel uncertain, and listening to the quieter signals.
