Rhodochrosite is part of the carbonate family.
These tumbled stones come from Catamarca Province, Argentina. It's soft (Mohs 3.5), so handle it with a little care, keep it dry, and store it in its own pouch so harder stones don't scratch it.
Rhodochrosite is traditionally a stone for working through difficult feelings at your own pace, opening to connection, with yourself and others, and coming back to yourself with kindness. It's traditionally linked to the heart chakra. If that resonates, keep it nearby during quiet moments or by the bed for rest. Let it become part of your own quiet routine.
