These are AA-grade Flower Agate hand polished stones from Analamanga, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Flower agate is a chalcedony holding plume-like white inclusions that read as blossoms in cross-section, found almost only in Madagascar. Each piece runs 1.25-2.00 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite manifestation stone for bedside tables.
Flower agate is a pale pink chalcedony with white crystalline inclusions that look like small flowers or bursts blooming inside the stone. It's a relatively new find from Madagascar.
We bring these tumbled stones in from Analamanga, Madagascar. Worth knowing: a lot of the flower agate on the market is dyed. What we carry is natural and untreated.
