Blue Rose Quartz Polished Free Form | Madagascar
This is an AA-grade Blue Rose Quartz polished free form from Alaotra-Mangoro, Madagascar. The blue-gray tint comes from dumortierite microcrystal inclusions, a much rarer occurrence than standard pink rose quartz. The piece stands 7.59 x 3.88 x 13.11 inches at Mohs 7, natural mineral color with no dye. A favorite stress relief stone for collectors.
Blue rose quartz is a rarer cousin of the classic pink variety. The color runs cool and dusty, somewhere between pale denim and morning sky, and the translucence gives it a softness that's hard to photograph well.
These polished crystals & decor come from Alaotra-Mangoro, Madagascar.
Ancient Romans and Egyptians used rose quartz facial masks, believing it would prevent wrinkles and keep skin clear.
Blue rose quartz is traditionally a stone for quiet, steady calm, working through difficult feelings at your own pace, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. It's traditionally linked to the throat and heart chakras. If that resonates, hold it for a few breaths before a conversation that matters. Let it become part of your own quiet routine.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
A starting place for your own quiet practice.
