Fluorite comes in almost every color, often banded together in a single piece, green, purple, blue, clear. It's soft enough to carve, which is why you'll see so many fluorite shapes on the market. The color bands are the whole story. The phenomenon of fluorescence was named after fluorite.
This piece comes from Erongo, Namibia.
In crystal traditions, fluorite is often associated with coming back to the task in front of you, a simple anchor during practice, and cleansing.
