Read our Sourcing Standards →Sodalite is a deep navy to royal blue, marbled through with veins of white calcite. The contrast is what makes each piece distinctive, with no two patterns ever alike.
Hand-selected from Bahia, Brazil. Named for its sodium content. Sodalite often forms in massive, non-crystalline aggregates with intergrown calcite, which is why the white veining is part of the stone's natural character.
Sodalite is traditionally worked with for intuition, focused thought, and quiet stress relief. It's linked to the throat and third eye chakras. Many people keep a piece on a desk during long thinking work, or by a journal to settle the noise before writing.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
