Common questions
What is the best crystal for sleep?
Amethyst is the traditional answer and the most stocked stone in this collection. Lepidolite is our own pick, a lilac lithium mica from Brazil that anchors the whole category. Either one earns the nightstand spot; the rest is color preference.
How do I use crystals for sleep?
Keep one on the nightstand and make it part of the wind-down: a glance or a moment holding it before the lamp goes off. The tradition is about marking the boundary of the day, and a stone does that better sitting in view than hidden under a pillow.
Can you sleep with crystals under your pillow?
You can, but most people regret it. A tumbled stone is a hard lump to find with your ear at 3am, it migrates, and it falls. Soft stones like celestite and howlite can chip when they do. The nightstand does the same job in comfort.
What crystals work together for sleep?
Amethyst and lepidolite are the natural pair, the traditional stone and the lithium mica. Add smoky quartz if you want a third that isn't another purple. Keep the bedside set small; two or three stones is plenty.
Do sleep crystals help with stress relief too?
The traditions treat them as one problem, and the collections show it: amethyst, lepidolite and smoky quartz sit in both our sleep and stress relief lists. If the tension is a daytime thing, start with the stress relief collection, which is much larger and adds the blue stones.
Is howlite dyed?
Howlite is one of the most commonly dyed stones in the trade, usually dyed blue to imitate turquoise. The howlite in this collection is white and undyed, with the gray web veining the stone is known for. At 3.5 it's soft, so keep it on the nightstand rather than loose in a bag.
