Blue Lace Agate Raw Crystal Geodes | AA Grade | Malawi
These are AA-grade Blue Lace Agate raw geodes from Nsipe, Malawi. Blue Lace Agate is a banded chalcedony in pale sky blue, its fine white lace lines built up layer by layer in rock cavities. Each geode runs 2-7 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite stress relief stone for display shelves.
Blue lace agate looks like someone drew soft blue clouds into layered stone. The bands run pale and gentle, rarely sharp, which is part of why people gravitate toward it when they need to slow down.
It is one of the most diverse and widely collected mineral groups, with dozens of named varieties based on color, pattern, and origin.
Our geodes are sourced from Nsipe, Malawi. Worth knowing: a lot of the blue lace agate on the market is dyed. What we carry is natural and untreated.
In the tradition, blue lace agate shows up most often around quiet, steady calm, working through difficult feelings at your own pace, and a simple anchor during practice. It's traditionally linked to the throat chakra. If that resonates, keep one in your pocket on days you know you'll need to speak up. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
A starting place for your own quiet practice.
