These are AA-grade Orange Calcite polished hearts from Mahajanga, Madagascar. Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral; this variety glows warm orange to amber and catches light along its cleavage planes. Each heart runs 1.25-1.75 inches at Mohs 2.5-3, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite creativity stone for gifting and desks.

Hand-selected from Mahajanga, Madagascar. Worth knowing: a lot of the orange calcite on the market is dyed. What we carry is natural and untreated.
It's soft (Mohs 2.5-3), so handle it with a little care, keep it dry, and store it in its own pouch so harder stones don't scratch it.
