About This Azurite

Azurite is a deep blue copper carbonate mineral prized for its intense, vivid color.

Sourced directly from Kunene, Namibia. At 3.5-4 on the Mohs scale, it's on the softer end. Give it only a quick rinse and dry it, and store it separately from harder pieces.

One of the earliest pigments used by painters, known as 'Mountain Blue' in medieval Europe.

Traditionally Used For

In the tradition, azurite shows up most often around listening to the quieter signals, a simple anchor during practice, and coming back to the task in front of you. It's traditionally linked to the third eye and crown chakras. If that resonates, set it in front of you during meditation or quiet reflection. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.
