These are A-grade Blue Lace Agate tumbled stones from the Karas Region, Namibia, sold by the piece or by the pound. Blue lace agate is a banded chalcedony in pale sky blue with fine white lace-like layers. Each piece runs 1.25-2 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, bought directly at the source. A favorite stress relief stone for bedside tables.
Blue lace agate looks like someone drew soft blue clouds into layered stone. The bands run pale and gentle, rarely sharp, which is part of why people gravitate toward it when they need to slow down.
It is one of the most diverse and widely collected mineral groups, with dozens of named varieties based on color, pattern, and origin.

Blue Lace Agate sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
