These are A-grade Clear Quartz raw crystal points from Alaotra-Mangoro, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Each point is a naturally grown quartz crystal with faceted sides tapering to a termination, often with matrix at the base. Pieces run 1-2 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite healing stone for meditation spaces.
Clear quartz is exactly what it sounds like. Transparent, sometimes water-clear, sometimes threaded with rainbow inclusions where the crystal grew around trapped minerals. It's one of the most common stones on earth and still one of the most useful.

Clear Quartz sits at 7 on the Mohs scale, harder than a steel blade, so it handles daily carry and a quick rinse without fuss. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.

Each piece measures 1 to 2 inches on its longest side and weighs 10 to 30 grams. About 32 to 48 pieces per pound at this size, and each option shows its piece count.
Grade A. Clear to slightly cloudy bodies, intact natural points with some internal veils and surface striations. Grades reflect visual quality within a batch. A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch. Every lot is inspected and graded by our team in Rockville, Maryland, not taken on the supplier’s word.
Madagascar. Quartz is found worldwide; Madagascar is one of the most consistent sources for natural raw points at this size and grade. It came to us through a community partnership, one of the sourcing models we publish and stand behind.
