These are A-grade Dendritic Agate palm stones from Boeny, Madagascar. The fern-like patterns are manganese oxide dendrites, mineral branching that mimics plant growth inside translucent chalcedony. Each piece runs 1.50-3 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite grounding stone for meditation spaces.

It is one of the most diverse and widely collected mineral groups, with dozens of named varieties based on color, pattern, and origin.
Hand-selected from Boeny, Madagascar. Worth knowing: a lot of the dendritic agate on the market is dyed. What we carry is natural and untreated.

Dendritic Agate sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
