These are A-grade Green Jade hand polished stones from Lima, Peru, sold by the piece or by the pound. Peruvian jade is a serpentine-rich stone worked by Andean artisans for generations, polished to a smooth, soft-green finish. Each piece runs 0.75-1.50 inches at Mohs 6.5, bought directly at the source. A favorite luck stone for gifting and entryways.

These tumbled stones come from Lima, Peru. Worth knowing: a lot of the jade on the market is dyed. What we carry is natural and untreated.
In the tradition, jade shows up most often around luck, openness to what comes your way, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. It's traditionally linked to the heart chakra. If that resonates, keep it nearby during quiet moments or by the bed for rest. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.

Jade sits at 6.5 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
Natural jade from Lima, Peru. Untreated. Peruvian green jade is sold in its natural state. Some commercial 'jade' on the broader market is dyed quartzite or dyed serpentine; ours is the natural mineral.
You'll receive pieces from the same batch photographed, weighed to the amount you choose. Every piece passes our quality control and meets or exceeds what you see in the photos. Single specimens are listed separately and say so.
Each piece measures 0.75 to 1.5 inches on its longest side and weighs 10 to 40 grams. About 16 to 32 pieces per pound at this size, and each option shows its piece count.
Grade A. Soft to medium green color, hand polished smooth, with natural color variation between pieces. Grades reflect visual quality within a batch. A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch. Every lot is inspected and graded by our team in Rockville, Maryland, not taken on the supplier’s word.
Peru. The classic gemological jades, nephrite and jadeite, come mostly from Myanmar, Russia, China, and Canada. It came to us through a direct source, one of the sourcing models we publish and stand behind.

Our Sourcing StandardsEverything we sell is natural in origin: never synthetic, never dyed, never coated. Where a stone has been heated, irradiated or stabilized, which is common in the trade for some species, we say so on the listing. If a piece is not as described, return it within 90 days of delivery.
