These are AA-grade Ocean Jasper palm stones from Sofia, Madagascar. Ocean jasper is an orbicular silica rock found only along Madagascar's northwest coast, its round orbs set in green, pink, and cream. Each palm stone runs 1.50-3 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite emotional healing stone for meditation spaces.
Ocean jasper is a riot of orbs and swirls in green, pink, white, and rust. No two pieces look alike. It's only found in one place on earth, the coast of northwestern Madagascar, and the original mine has been worked out for years.
Our palm stones are sourced from Sofia, Madagascar.
Named for its location on the ocean coast accessible only by sea.
Those who work with ocean jasper often turn to it for working through difficult feelings at your own pace, quiet, steady calm, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. It's traditionally linked to the heart and throat chakras. If that resonates, hold one over your chest for a few breaths when you need to soften. How you use it is up to you.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
A starting place for your own quiet practice.
