These are A-grade Ocean Jasper tumbled stones from Sofia, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Ocean Jasper is an orb-patterned chalcedony from one coastal region of Madagascar, and its primary deposit is now depleted. Each piece runs 1-1.50 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite stress relief stone for pockets.
Ocean jasper is a riot of orbs and swirls in green, pink, white, and rust. No two pieces look alike. It's only found in one place on earth, the coast of northwestern Madagascar, and the original mine has been worked out for years.
Hand-selected from Sofia, Madagascar.
Named for its location on the ocean coast accessible only by sea.
In the tradition, ocean jasper shows up most often around working through difficult feelings at your own pace, quiet, steady calm, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. It's traditionally linked to the heart and throat chakras. If that resonates, keep it nearby during quiet moments or by the bed for rest. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
A starting place for your own quiet practice.
