These are AA-grade Orca Agate palm stones from Sofia, Madagascar. Orca Agate is a black-and-white banded agate from Madagascar, named for its resemblance to orca markings. Each palm stone runs 1.50-3 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite grounding stone for pockets and meditation spaces.

Our palm stones are sourced from Sofia, Madagascar. Worth knowing: a lot of the orca agate on the market is dyed. What we carry is natural and untreated.
It is one of the most diverse and widely collected mineral groups, with dozens of named varieties based on color, pattern, and origin.

Orca Agate sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
