About This Smoky Quartz

Smoky quartz gets its color from natural gamma radiation exposure over geologic time, working on trace aluminum inside the crystal. The result is a warm brown-to-gray tone that can range from a faint tea color to deep chocolate.

Minas Gerais is a major natural source. Hand-selected through our co-op partner.
