These are AA-grade Sodalite raw stones from Bahia, Brazil, sold by the piece or by the pound. Sodalite belongs to the feldspathoid family, deep blue with white calcite veining running through most pieces. Each piece runs 1-2 inches at Mohs 6, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite focus stone for crystal grids.
Sodalite is a deep royal blue, usually marbled with white calcite veins. It's easy to confuse with lapis lazuli from across a room, but sodalite has no pyrite and a slightly softer feel.
These raw pieces come from Bahia, Brazil.

Sodalite sits at 6 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
