These are AA-grade Sodalite raw stones from Kunene, Namibia, sold by the piece or by the pound. Sodalite is a sodium-rich silicate in saturated royal blue, commonly crossed by white calcite veining. Each rough piece runs 1-2 inches at Mohs 6, fully natural and untreated. A favorite meditation stone for desks.
Sodalite is a deep royal blue, usually marbled with white calcite veins. It's easy to confuse with lapis lazuli from across a room, but sodalite has no pyrite and a slightly softer feel.
Discovered in Greenland and elsewhere.

Sodalite sits at 6 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
