These are A-grade Sodalite tumbled stones from Bahia, Brazil, sold by the piece or by the pound. White calcite veining threads through the royal-blue body, one easy way to tell sodalite from lapis. Each piece runs 0.75-1.25 inches at Mohs 6, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite meditation stone for bedside tables.
Sodalite is a deep royal blue, usually marbled with white calcite veins. It's easy to confuse with lapis lazuli from across a room, but sodalite has no pyrite and a slightly softer feel.
