In Short

These are A-grade clear quartz crystal vases from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Quartz is silicon dioxide, and this massive milky material is the same mineral as a clear point, grown densely rather than in faceted form. Each vase runs 4-6 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and untreated, with a removable tube insert holding the water. A favorite cleansing stone for entryways.

About This Clear Quartz

Quartz is silicon dioxide and the second most abundant mineral in the earth's crust. Minas Gerais is one of the great quartz regions of the world.

The white, frosted material these vases are cut from is the same mineral as a clear crystal point. It simply grew densely and in bulk rather than into faces, which is what allows it to be worked into a vessel.

These are cut and hollowed from solid blocks sourced in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Traditionally Used For

Clear quartz is traditionally treated as the generalist, worked with for clarity, cleansing, and amplifying whatever intention you bring to it. It is linked to the crown chakra and is one of the few stones associated with every sign.

If that resonates, an entryway is the traditional placement, on the theory that it meets you and whatever you carried in.

These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Care and Use

Sensitivity Low

Clear Quartz sits at 7 on the Mohs scale, harder than a steel blade, so it handles daily carry and a quick rinse without fuss. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
