These are AA-grade Clear Quartz crystal clusters from Minas Gerais, Brazil. A cluster is a group of naturally terminated quartz points grown from a shared base, each formation one of a kind. Each cluster runs 1.50-2.50 inches at Mohs 7, untreated with natural formation intact. A favorite cleansing stone for desks and display shelves.
Clear Quartz is part of the Quartz family, with a trigonal (hexagonal family) crystal structure and a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. It's been valued since prehistory; ancient Greek writers used the word "kristallos" to describe it, believing it was ice frozen so deeply it could never thaw.
It remains one of the most widely used crystals across cultures and traditions, valued for its clarity and versatility. Small clusters form when silica-rich fluids cool inside protected pockets, letting multiple crystals grow side by side on a common matrix.
Market note: the word "crystal" sometimes gets used for cut glass. Real quartz scratches glass and has no internal bubbles.
Clear Quartz is traditionally associated with cleansing, meditation, manifestation, and clarity. Long held to support mental focus and the resetting of stale energy in a space.

Clear Quartz sits at 7 on the Mohs scale, harder than a steel blade, so it handles daily carry and a quick rinse without fuss. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.

Each piece measures 1.5 to 2.5 inches on its longest side and weighs 20 to 50 grams. About 12 to 20 pieces per pound at this size, and each option shows its piece count.
Grade AA. Good clarity with natural inclusions, solid terminations, and the minor surface marks you would expect on a natural cluster. Grades reflect visual quality within a batch. A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch. Every lot is inspected and graded by our team in Rockville, Maryland, not taken on the supplier’s word.
