These are AA-grade Ocean Jasper polished hearts from Sofia, Madagascar. Ocean Jasper's rounded orb patterns in green, pink, and cream occur only along Madagascar's northwest coast. Each heart runs 1.00-1.50 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite love stone for gifting and bedside tables.
Ocean jasper is a riot of orbs and swirls in green, pink, white, and rust. No two pieces look alike. It's only found in one place on earth, the coast of northwestern Madagascar, and the original mine has been worked out for years.

In the tradition, ocean jasper shows up most often around working through difficult feelings at your own pace, quiet, steady calm, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. It's traditionally linked to the heart and throat chakras. If that resonates, keep it nearby during quiet moments or by the bed for rest. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.

Ocean Jasper sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
