These are AAA-grade Selenite polished discs from New Mexico, USA. Selenite is fibrous gypsum, translucent white with a silky optical glow that travels across the polished face. Each disc rates Mohs 2 and is fully natural and untreated; wipe dry, never soak. A favorite cleansing stone for crystal grids and display shelves.
Selenite is chalky white, translucent, and so soft you can scratch it with a fingernail. A good piece has a silky fiber running through it that catches the light like moonlight on water. Keep it dry and it'll last. Named after Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon.
These polished crystals & decor come from New Mexico, USA. It's soft (Mohs 2), so handle it with a little care, keep it dry, and store it in its own pouch so harder stones don't scratch it.
In the tradition, selenite shows up most often around cleansing, a simple anchor during practice, and chakra balancing. It's traditionally linked to the crown chakra. If that resonates, place it at the top of an altar or on a nightstand. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
A starting place for your own quiet practice.
